Meet "First Lady" Anita Ross

Anita Ross is also on a mission to empower millions of women to love themselves fully and to equip them with the tools for making choices that serve their highest good. Anita's life path has taken her through unique experiences that have allowed her to discover her purpose early in life. She knows firsthand the struggles that women face with low self-esteem, gender discrimination, body image pressures and domestic violence. 

She teaches women the breakthrough principles and practices that she used to rescue herself from the quicksand of low self esteem and victim mentality to skyrocket herself to the mountaintop of total self acceptance and unconditional love. Anita also has a passion for mentoring teen girls and has been recognized by various agencies for her important social outreach. Her background as an engineer in Corporate America, an entrepreneur, the Executive Director of a not-for-profit organization, and a Life Coach all add to the rich experience she brings to her workshops, coaching clients, and retreats.

Anita earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Stony Brook University in New York. She also holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan at Dearborn. Her professional work includes holding key management, operations, design, analytical, and advisory positions over her ten year career for various Fortune 500 companies in Corporate America.

In 2002, Anita embarked upon her entrepreneurial career and co-founded a consulting firm called StockTheMind, LLC. The firm serviced small and mid-sized businesses, supporting them with creating systems for growth and efficiency, using engineering principles. It was during this period that she realized how significant it would be to apply her unique business skill set and her life’s experiences to her hearts passion empowering women and teen girls.

Today Anita is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of a non-profit youth organization. She is the author of "Mean Time Love: A Woman's Journey From Self-Loathe to Self-Love" a self-help book for women Highlights and is touring the country with her latest women's workshop, A Deeper Kind of Love. This experiential workshop supports women with identifying the gaps that they have in self love and offers them a robust pathway to healing and freedom.  Additionally, Anita is the Founder of the Women for Equlity Movement, committed to inspring people to organize and stand up and speak out when love and justice are at stake in our democracy.
